Program description
An unique and adaptable LLM programme, Investment regulatory Law will teach you the ins and outs of investment regulatory law as it applies to the real world. Topics covered in this course include FDI, investment contracts and agreements at the bilateral, regional, and international levels; compensation; public interest problems; and full protection, security, and fair treatment.
By the end of the course, you will have mastered the skills necessary to gather relevant information, analyze it critically, and apply what you've learned to problems in a way that makes sense.
Program structure
Terms 1&2
In addition to a general induction to the programme, there is a two-week induction covering the Key Principles of the English Legal System. This is compulsory for non-law students, but also open to students wanting a refresher in the fundamentals of the law of England and Wales. This would be useful for any student who has taken a considerable break from legal education.

You may then choose three from the list of elective modules which includes modules such as:

About the university
The University of Law is the largest law school in the United Kingdom and was formed in 1962 as The College of Law of England and Wales. It offers law degrees, specialized legal training, and continuing professional development courses for British barristers and lawyers. Its beginnings can be found around 1876.
Prior to receiving university status in 2012, the College of Law's educational and training business was divided off and incorporated as a private limited company.
