Program description
This work-focused course will teach you how to be an effective communicator and project manager. On Scotland's only four-year Engineering Management honours degree, you'll become a certified engineering manager, assisting teams in their successful collaboration.
Experience hands-on learning that prepares you for real-world difficulties, including a guaranteed job placement, onsite visits, industry presentations, team projects, and guest lecturers. We do all we can to assist you improve your CV while you study.
From the outset, you will work in cross-disciplinary teams on real-world projects assigned by industry partners. With everyone taking on various duties, you'll study as if you were at work. There is a guaranteed 12-week work placement. This provides you with industrial experience and on-the-job knowledge. It also allows you to network inside the industry.
The course is routinely evaluated by experienced professional engineers (the industrial liaison panel) to ensure that what youlearn is constantly relevant to the industry. You'll also get worksite tours, guest lecturers, and presentations from partners such as Balfour Beatty, Transport Scotland, and SSE.
You will graduate with outstanding business, engineering, and environmental abilities, as well as employment experience. There is a significant skills shortage in this industry, making you very desired in the employment market.

Requirements for applicants
Typical minimum entry requirements:
- A levels: CCC
- International Baccalaureate: 28 points, to include any essential subject at S5 or H4.
- Indian senior secondary school leaving certificate (12th standard from ICSE, CBSE or state boards) with a minimum of 65% or better
- English at IELTS 6.0 (with no component less than 5.5)
