Program description
Investigate the intriguing relationship between diet, nutrition, and exercise and their effects on our health and well-being. Investigate the role of fitness and nutrition in the promotion of public health, and evaluate food and consumer choices from the perspectives of safety, quality, and nutrition.
In our state-of-the-art laboratories, you will acquire the skills necessary to professionally manage and test food, as well as to master analytical techniques. A work placement, typically in schools, the National Health Service, or community-based roles/projects, will improve your CV.
We provide instruction on the fundamentals of nutrition, exercise, and cuisine, such as:
- Food-handling skills
- Functionality of raw and cooked food components
- Key societal challenges in diet, sport, and exercise
- How nutrition, metabolism, and digestion affect diet and health
- How to analyze food and drink using a variety of scientific procedures
Food Science, Nutrition, and Wellbeing are the fundamental courses for the initial two years. Then, you have the option to specialize in other fields or continue your studies in this pathway.

- International Baccalaureate: 28 points, to include any essential subject at S5 or H4.
- Indian senior secondary school leaving certificate (12th standard from ICSE, CBSE or state boards) with a minimum of 65% or better
- English at IELTS 6.0 (with no component less than 5.5)
