The course accepts applicants with a bachelor's degree (2:2) in a related field or three years of criminal justice experience. No matter your expertise, the program offers a parallel help track to give you the academic tools you need.

Using case studies, you will critically assess serious and violent crime topics such sexual offenses, terrorism, and the dark web. You will also learn how to manage tough topics in high-stress settings and lead teams through difficult events and investigations. Requirements for applicants

  • A UK Honours Degree at a minimum of second class (2:2) or equivalent related to the field of criminology, criminal justice, or forensic psychology etc.
  • If you don't hold the above qualification three years work experience within the sector is required, without this your application will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

English proficiency

  • IELTS 6.5 (no less than 6.0 in any element); or TOEFL iBT 90; or equivalent
  • Alternatively, evidence you have previously studied in English, such as a letter to show that the Medium of Instruction was in English, can be accepted.
