INTAKES: Hamburg: February, October

Program structure

Three terms of study and six months of dissertation work make up this eighteen-month (Level 7) MA in photography.

You will begin to explore your creative practice throughout the first two terms of the course, which will include a variety of lectures and seminars. This will help you later in the course when you are developing the specifics of your project proposal.

During the third term, you start working on your MA project, analyzing and testing the objectives of your proposal over an extended length of independent study.

Finally, using the knowledge you have obtained from your study, you will apply it to produce a final body of work in which you will have the option of choosing a general approach or one of the three specializations listed below in relation to our BA courses: Animation, illustration, or graphic design.

This program's modules are exclusively available and taught on campus. Additional reading materials and course materials will be available to students through the University for the Creative Arts platform.

  • Exploratory Perspective
