Program description
Our Popular Music Performance and Music Business BA builds entrepreneurial skills. This course helps you self-manage your band or project, release your own material, and improve your live presentation.
You'll learn performance, technique, musicianship, artist management, recording, live music, publishing, and marketing. These topics help you succeed as a musician and understand the industry. You'll learn in live rooms, studios, and classrooms.
Our sought-after lecturers are informed and motivating. Course modules allow customization. Performance, songwriting, technology, composing, arranging, recording, teaching, and research are optional modules. You'll finish the course with a portfolio that gives you skills and motivation for a creative career.

Tuition fees
- 15,950 GBP/year
All international students must pay a deposit in order to secure their place on the course they have applied for. Deposit amounts will depend on if you are self-funded or if you have secured financial aid or a loan.
- Self-funded international students: 4,000 GBP
- Funded international students: 1,000 GBP
The deposit amount is deductible from your total fees.
Requirements for applicants
- 6 Leaving Certificate subjects +25s + audition*
- All applicants must attend an audition at which they can earn up to 600 additional points to add to their Leaving Cert points.
*a minimum of 4 O6/H7s are required to meet the minimum entry requirement.
