Program description
BIMM knows that today's music industry values multiskilled music professionals. The line between songwriter and producer blurs. Many composers and producers write or co-write songs. With a BA (Hons) in Songwriting and Music Production, you'll learn to produce music in a studio and write songs in diverse genres.
You'll learn studio engineering and software abilities, songwriting technique, composing in many styles and genres, and acoustic theory. In addition to Songwriting and Music Production Core classes, you'll learn how to function effectively in the music industry.
Your trajectory can change as your desires and goals do. Optional modules let you focus on your career goals. You can specialise in modules for several industries. Recording, live music, cinema and TV, audio post-production, and education are examples.
We offer diverse learning opportunities to prepare you for the real world. You'll take classes, workshops, and seminars offered by active industry professionals.
