Program description
You can gain extensive academic and practical knowledge in the fields of film and media. Throughout the course, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the theoretical and practical possibilities of filmmaking, as well as insight into specific areas of the industry.
By the end of the course, you will have solid theoretical and practical knowledge of visual communication aspects, as well as the ability to create films and media products. Because of the intensive practical training, you will undoubtedly find the field that best suits your personality and interests.
The practical knowledge and skills you gain
- You will gain knowledge of screenplay, directing, lighting, editing, and sound post-production. You'll create short films, television sequences, and documentaries during the motion picture art practicum.
- You will get the chance to do one-camera or multi-camera shoots, learn how to use the most significant post-production tools, and experiment with a variety of film genres and roles.
- You will be conversant with the history and theory of motion pictures.
- Each year, you will be exposed to new styles of visual storytelling and filmmaking through a series of practical courses that build upon one another.

Fee for two semester (1 year education) is 9,000 EUR for international students.
Requirements for applicants
- Completed secondary school studies
- GPA: above 60% - annually and in the final exam
- Intermediate command of English (equivalent to IELTS 5.5+ or TOEFL 69+ level, but no certificate required)
- Portfolio of previous works 
- CV and Motivation Letter
- 3 min. long creative short film
