Program description
Canada's health-care system requires strong, compassionate, and competent leaders now more than ever. You'll learn the essential skills and aspects of effectively managing and leading a health care unit by studying CBU's Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Health Care Management, the only one of its kind in the Maritimes.
Health care units are constantly adapting, innovating, and reinventing themselves in an environment of increasing costs and tighter budgets. Employees with knowledge of policy and quality of service guidelines are sought by health care organisations, as are those with the ability to manage people, resources, innovation, and costs. This program's comprehensive curriculum teaches students essential aspects of managing a health care centre, such as accounting, statistics, analytics, organisational behaviour, and more, all in a culturally sensitive environment.
This programme is designed for domestic and international students with an undergraduate degree who want to seek supervisory positions in the field of health care. Alternatively, for students who want to acquire a foundational knowledge of management before pursuing a Master's degree.
