Born in 1850 César Ritz is considered to be the pioneer in hospitality. César had been introducing bold innovations and thinking beyond the box during his whole life to develop the excellence and service standards that founded the premium hospitality sector.

The School's shared governance structure enables internal and external stakeholders to interact with the school community on matters pertaining to overall quality and to ensure ongoing, thorough improvement. The Supervisory Committee delegated governance to the Academic and Operations Boards to provide a system whereby the institution might receive unbiased guidance. The Academic Board is accountable for academic policy, academic administration, and the oversight of the educational process to guarantee that educational outcomes have been met in order to ensure the academic quality and integrity of the institution's educational material.

Campus life
César Ritz has two campuses: one in Le Bouveret and the other in Brig.
The Le Bouveret campus is a lovely lakefront resort on the banks of Lake Geneva, just a short distance from the French border. The campus, housed in a stunning early 1900s former hotel, provides a tranquil and secure learning atmosphere with the most recent technological amenities. Students can engage in a variety of water sports during the summer, while ski resorts are close by for those who prefer winter sports.
The Brig dorm is just a short train ride from the iconic Matterhorn and is nestled in the bright Rhone Valley at the base of the Alps. Brig is one of Switzerland's largest open-air hot spas and is a great starting place for excursions to the mountain resorts of Zermatt or Saas-Fee.
Both Brig and Le Bouveret campuses offer fitness center, laundry room, private parking, personal storage, nightclub and bar.

Two times a year, students will have access to the International Recruitment Forum (IRF), one of the biggest career events in Europe, where they can comunicate, attend career presentations, meet and interview with business representatives, take part in panel discussions, and learn from business leaders. Recruiters from various locations come to the school on a regular basis to speak with pupils and enhance the curriculum.
