Program description
Successful program graduates will demonstrate:
- Oral communication abilities in the target language, including grammatical correctness, tense usage, fluency, intonation, vocabulary, and discourse strategies for expressing viewpoints or making research presentations.
- Communicative writing abilities in the target language, including clarity, grammatical precision, suitable terminology, proper elaboration via sentence structures and vocabulary, and logical flow through discourse organizing techniques.
- Analytical skill in literary and cultural texts of the target language, including the ability to formulate and present a topic of inquiry, critically analyze it with valid evidence, and cogently synthesize and summarize bibliographical sources and their own analytical inquiry.
- Respect for cultural and linguistic diversity expanded.
