Program description

This Bachelor of Science in Chemistry is accredited by the American Chemical Society (ACS). All branches of science, including biochemistry, engineering, ecology, and materials science, are subfields of chemistry. Concerning air, food, soil, and water, chemists collect and assess data used in policymaking. Safer, more efficient use of energy and resources is what chemists strive for when developing new materials and processes. In order to recover usable materials from trash, chemists devise new processes. A chemist's work has far-reaching societal implications, thus it's important for them to be well-versed in all areas of the field, good communicators, and able to interact with other scientists and politicians.
