Program description

By investigating the fundamental notions of space, time, and matter, physics has altered our understanding of the cosmos. Physics is not only the basis for the other natural sciences and many technical fields, but it is also an essential component of modern technology.

The physics major at Constructor University is a three-year BSc degree program. Its content is based on the criteria of the Konferenz der Fachbereiche der Physik (KFP) in Germany, the Institute of Physics (Britain) for BSc in Physics, and the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) physics test.

The first year begins with an overview of classical and modern physics, as well as its mathematical basis. The second year of study includes a thorough and advanced education in the foundations of physics (analytical mechanics, electrodynamics, quantum mechanics, and statistical physics), as well as subjects of current interest such computational physics or renewable energy. Finally, in the third year, students can choose from a variety of specialist courses such as condensed matter physics and particles, fields, and quanta.

A BSc in Physics from Constructor University provides a robust and adaptable basis for vocations ranging from fundamental research in academia to engineering in industry or education.

Six semesters of study totaling 180 ECTS credit points are included in the three-year undergraduate program (CP). The 3C-Model, an innovative and student-centered modularization method, organizes the discipline content of the three study years according to overarching themes.
