Program description
Innovative technology allows for the creation of friendly interfaces and engaging experiences for users.
You will have the chance to take a wide range of theoretical classes taught by professionals in the field, as well as practical workshops where you can work side-by-side with students from all over the world and different academic backgrounds.
The Semester Course format is divided into two sections.
Each module will have one theoretical course and one workshop, but the specifics of these will vary depending on when your program officially begins.

FIRST INTAKE (September)
-
DIGITAL & PHYSICAL PROTOTYPING
Students in the course Digital & Physical Prototyping will learn how to create prototypes of interactive products and services using simple software and hardware by combining theoretical insights with focused design activities, short assignments, and exercises.

About the university
Early in the 1980s, Milan became a center for Italian fashion and design. Yet, no one in the city was teaching design in a formal way. In order to fill this void and guide the next generation of designers, prominent art critics and designers saw a unique opportunity. Domus Academy was established in 1982 as Italy's first graduate school of design.
The founders wanted to create a school where people from all walks of life could learn from and teach to each other. A university that combines cutting-edge research and forward-thinking initiatives with the goal of advancing the field of design.
