Program description
The Master of Arts in Design Innovation program takes two years to complete and emphasizes new ways of thinking about and approaching design. The goal is to identify and foresee global trends in complex issues.
As the field of design adapts to new circumstances, it is undergoing a transformation that could be described as paradigmatic. Opportunities for what, how, and what kinds of experiences we might design are growing as cutting-edge technological progress converges with urgent social and environmental concerns.
The course promotes design as a cultural act, emphasizing innovative solutions and multidisciplinary approaches to the problems of the future.

Price
The 2-year Master of Arts involves the following costs, in addition to the payment of a Degree Fee to be paid within one month before the course start date, equal to 540 EUR.
- Fee for 2-Year Master of Arts is 20900,00 EUR/year for international students (pre-enrollment - 3000.00 EUR and tuition - 17900.00 EUR)
Requirements for applicants
2-YEAR MASTER OF ARTS
- At least 15 years of previous Education
- Holding a first level academic degree (Bachelor’s Degree or Academic Diploma) in fields related to the selected study programme
- Certificate of English language (IELTS 5.0 Academic or General on entry
Applications are open also to students with not related degrees or diplomas, if the applicant is motivated by a research interest towards the programme’s topics.

About the university
Early in the 1980s, Milan became a center for Italian fashion and design. Yet, no one in the city was teaching design in a formal way. In order to fill this void and guide the next generation of designers, prominent art critics and designers saw a unique opportunity. Domus Academy was established in 1982 as Italy's first graduate school of design.
The founders wanted to create a school where people from all walks of life could learn from and teach to each other. A university that combines cutting-edge research and forward-thinking initiatives with the goal of advancing the field of design.
