Program description

Drew's music program fosters and facilitates the cultivation of a comprehensive and integrated comprehension of music by providing opportunities for historical study and research, solo and ensemble performance, theoretical and style analysis, and original composition. Our curriculum is founded on the classical Western European tradition, with supplementary material encompassing music of the world, jazz, popular, and new music practices. Concentrate your academic pursuits on the integration of music history, composition/theory, or performance, and pursue your passion to secure a position in the recording industry, education, theater, film, television, or radio.

About the university
