Program description
Drew University is a place where every stage in the world is a stage, and the path from student performer to professional artist requires thorough guidance and support, creative expression, critical thinking, and personal development. Drew University is ranked among the top 25 institutions in the US by the Princeton Review as having the best college theater. via his program, Drew's Semester on New York Theatre, students get the opportunity to experience some of the most popular stage shows of the present day, interact with the performers who bring these performances to life, and improve their skill via hands-on workshops. The program provides students with the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of careers, such as those of casting directors, arts administrators, directors, producers, performers, designers/technicians, literary managers/dramaturgs, educators, and drama/dance therapists, through internships with companies located in New Jersey, New York City, and other locations around the world. In addition, students from Drew University have been permitted to enroll in some of the most prominent graduate schools in the country.

About the university
