Program description

Drew's STEM-designated Master of Science in Finance (MS) program offers a comprehensive 30-credit exploration of the quantitative and analytical techniques employed in contemporary financial services.

Leveraging Drew’s two decades of success with the distinctive Wall Street Semester and robust connections to the financial services sector, MS students acquire the training and credentials essential for thriving in diverse organizations, including banks, financial institutions, multinational corporations, government entities, and nonprofit organizations.

Distinctive to the Drew MS in Finance program, enrolled students will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and abilities through financial internships in real-world settings while undertaking classroom curriculum. Mentors collaborate with students in several fields, including municipal bond research, derivatives trading, and private equity, providing each student the chance to connect with financial organizations in New York City while attending Drew.

A collaborative portfolio management project takes place during the capstone, enabling students to propose asset allocation proposals to a panel of industry professionals and financial experts. Drew's co-curricular programming included guest lectures and excursions to New York City to engage with financial corporations, regulatory bodies, and organizations focused on fostering ethical financial practices and enhancing financial literacy.
