Program description
The health, environmental, textile, mining, chemical and materials production, energy, food processing, and agricultural sectors are just some of the many that are affected by biotechnology.
Biotechnological uses make businesses more sustainable because they boost productivity and reduce waste. Pest-resistant vegetation, biofuels that are gentler on the environment, and better methods of disease diagnosis are just a few examples of the many ways in which this field has contributed to our standard of living. Students gain an understanding of the rules that govern the use of these techniques as they work in cutting-edge laboratories using industry-standard equipment to discover how living organisms and parts of living organisms can provide new methods of production and aid the development of new products.
Training with our large collection of analytical instruments is both hands-on and grounded in real-world contexts. Graduates have a solid foundation of theoretical knowledge and practical abilities from which to build their careers.
