Program description

This program combines electronics design and mechanical technologies with automation, instrumentation, and control systems, and it has won awards in Ontario for its excellent knowledge and skills, quality of learning experience, graduate happiness, and graduation rate. Automated systems are used in many different sectors, and graduates of this program learn the skills and knowledge necessary to design and troubleshoot these systems.

The Integrated Manufacturing Centre (IMC) is a state-of-the-art facility where students can learn and experiment with state-of-the-art equipment such as controllers, operator touch displays, industrial networks, robotics, and more.

The Royal Canadian Navy has approved the Electromechanical Engineering Technology curriculum, making it acceptable for military service.
