Program description
This program combines electronics design and mechanical technologies with automation, instrumentation, and control systems, and it has won awards in Ontario for its excellent knowledge and skills, quality of learning experience, graduate happiness, and graduation rate. Automated systems are used in many different sectors, and graduates of this program learn the skills and knowledge necessary to design and troubleshoot these systems.
The Integrated Manufacturing Centre (IMC) is a state-of-the-art facility where students can learn and experiment with state-of-the-art equipment such as controllers, operator touch displays, industrial networks, robotics, and more.
The Royal Canadian Navy has approved the Electromechanical Engineering Technology curriculum, making it acceptable for military service.

Requirements for applicants
- Matured student status (applicants who are over 19 years old and do not have a high school diploma)
- Grade 12 English (C or U)
- Grade 12 Mathematics (C, M or U)
- English language proficiency

- IBT TOEFL: 80, with minimum section scores of 20
- PTE Academic: 53 minimum overall, no section below 49 L,W,S,R
