Program description
As population growth, industrialization, and social unrest continue to put strain on our planet, it is up to educated environmental technologists to find and implement solutions. Technologists, armed with information gleaned from analyses of sustainability risks, offer novel strategies for lessening and eventually reversing humankind's destructive effects on the planet.
The outdoor, classroom, and laboratory are all part of the Environmental Technology curriculum. Outside, you'll conduct tests on soil, air, and water; inside, you'll study microbiology in our labs and practice techniques like mass spectrometry, titration, and chromatography. Chemistry, sustainability, social duty, environmental legislation, project management, and other topics will all be covered in class.
