Program description
Training in journalism prepares students for one of the most fascinating jobs possible while also providing excellent training in critical thinking, writing, and presenting ideas.
Graduates of journalism programs go on to work at newspapers, magazines, and radio and television stations, including the school's own Riot Radio, where they put their newly acquired skills to use telling tales. In addition to classroom instruction, students gain hands-on experience in the field through the program's "working newsroom," and then put what they've learned to use during a six-week field internship.
Students should be aware that they will need to invest in their own laptop computer if they participate in this course.
