Program description
This multidisciplinary program is for you if you are interested in altering human behavior and helping people enhance their quality of life. Develop in-demand skills in adopting Applied Behaviour Analysis to serve persons with developmental difficulties or impairments across the lifespan, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, acquired brain injury, addiction, or dementia. Students will also study about the applications of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, acceptance, and mindfulness-based therapies, as well as the effects these therapies can have on these populations.
Students will build in-demand professional competencies that combine the science, clinical, communication, and ethical components of behavioral science through a comprehensive mix of theoretical, research, and applied courses.
The Honours Bachelor of Behavioural Science program has been approved by the Association for Behavior Analysis International as meeting the curriculum criteria for taking the Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst® examination.

Requirements for applicants
- Matured student status (applicants who are over 19 years old and do not have a high school diploma
- Six Grade 12 U or M courses with a combined minimum average of 65% including:
- Grade 12 U English with a final minimum grade of 65%.
- Or Six post-secondary credits with a combined minimum average of 65% including:
- College or university English or communications with a final minimum grade of 65%
- English language proficiency
- Academic IELTS: 6.5, no band score less than 6.0
- IBT TOEFL: 88, with minimum section scores of 22
- PTE Academic: 60 minimum overall, no section below 57 L,W,S,R
