Program description

There is a need for construction workers with the knowledge and abilities to operate in the developing building construction business in today's skills-specific labor market. This program will give you the fundamental skills you need to enter the modern construction sector and a solid understanding of the most recent edition of the Ontario Building Code. You will acquire knowledge of modern, low-carbon, energy-efficient, and ecologically conscious homes, including Net Ready and Net Zero designs, that are constructed with modern materials.

For students with a lot of energy, this is a fantastic chance to work in the expanding construction business. Graduates will fulfill the requirements for Working at Heights training set forth by the Ministry of Labor, Immigration, Training and Skills Development. Additionally, students will have the chance to finish a field placement or co-op program, which offers priceless practical job experience and industry exposure that equips graduates for prosperous employment.
