Program description
In our Culinary Management program, you will learn the art of food and flavor. You will explore locally farmed food, experiment with ethnic and contemporary cuisine, and hone your culinary abilities, all while gaining vital management skills that will propel your career forward. A strong emphasis is placed on lab/kitchen time, enabling students to develop their own processes and products, many of which they may take home and enjoy. Graduates are in high demand because to their unique skills, which include artisan meat cutting, cheese production, baking, canning, and preserving.
The W. Galen Weston Centre for Food (WC) offers the Culinary Management program, which is led by a field-to-fork concept and sustainable business methods in all activities. This remarkable learning center includes a demonstration theatre, cutting-edge labs, classrooms, and conference spaces, as well as Bistro '67, a full-service, green-certified teaching restaurant, and growing fields just steps away from the labs.
