Program description
This program is offered jointly by Durham College (DC) and Ontario Tech University (Ontario Tech) and will allow you to achieve two diplomas and a bachelor's degree in just few years. Get the most out of both worlds as you pursue a successful job in finance. Combine cutting-edge tools in the realms of business and information technology with up-to-date teaching methods in the fields of financial planning, investment, and health and life insurance.
Students will be well-prepared to take the exams required to earn the Chartered Financial Analyst designation through the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) Global Education Inc., to become licensed to sell mutual funds through the Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC)®, and to sell securities through the Canadian Securities Course (CSC)®.

Requirements for applicants
- Matured student status (applicants who are over 19 years old and do not have a high school diploma)
- Grade 12 English (C or U)
- Grade 11 mathematics (C, M or U)
- English language proficiency
- Academic IELTS: 6.0, no band score less than 5.5
- IBT TOEFL: 80, with minimum section scores of 20
- PTE Academic: 53 minimum overall, no section below 49 L,W,S,R
