Program description
A fulfilling profession in recreation therapy involves giving people of all ages and abilities purposeful, healthful leisure activities that enhance their quality of life. A variety of services are provided by recreation therapists, such as need assessments, program development, goal-setting, group facilitation, and intervention evaluation. Two community field placements are incorporated into this program to give our students the practical experience they need to confidently begin their careers in the field.

Requirements for applicants
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or Mature Student Status
