Program description
The Social Service Worker program equips students with the theoretical and practical knowledge, as well as the right mindset, to succeed in the dynamic and complex area of community and social services.
In order to prepare students for careers in social service settings like group homes, women's shelters, addiction and mental health facilities, employment programs, and senior services, the program places a strong emphasis on developing front-line interviewing and counselling skills.

Requirements for applicants
- Matured student status (applicants who are over 19 years old and do not have a high school diploma)
- Grade 12 English (C or U)
- Three additional senior level credits
- English language proficiency
- Academic IELTS: 6.0, no band score less than 5.5
- IBT TOEFL: 80, with minimum section scores of 20
- PTE Academic: 53 minimum overall, no section below 49 L,W,S,R
- CAEL: Overall scores of 60 with no section below 60
