Program description
The program's primary goals are to familiarize students with the latest computer engineering advancements and teach them the foundations of software development and computer applied sciences. The undergraduate program lasts four years and includes foundational courses on computer hardware, software, and networks.
The academic program in computer engineering excels in producing graduates who can analyze and create contemporary computer hardware, software, and information systems.
The Department provides a broad selection of department-related optional courses, such as graphic design, artificial intelligence, web technologies, data security, or different programming languages, in addition to foundational introductory courses like mathematics and physics. The Department of Software Development, our sister department, offers several of these courses. Although all technical courses are applied, the techniques needed to finish all term projects are current. Every student has access to a computer in every computer lab, and instruction is provided utilizing the newest hardware and software available. More significantly, a variety of digitally saved sources, databases, and research resources are available at the school library.
System analysts, software developers, system programmers, test/quality engineers, database administrators, computer system engineers, and game developers are among the careers available to graduates of the Department of Computer Engineering. The need for computer engineers and graduates in the industry is continuously increasing since we live in the computer age and our lives are getting more and more reliant on computers. All of our graduates can work anywhere in the globe, or they can choose to become academics by earning an M.Sc. or PhD.
