Program description
The primary objective of the program is to prepare English language instructors for employment in private language schools, university preparatory institutions, and Ministry of Education schools. Well-trained English language teachers are in great demand due to the language's growing significance as a global language for commerce, travel, and education. The goal of our curriculum is to provide teachers with useful skills. Only a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in ELT is currently offered by the department.
Our students are prepared with subject matter knowledge and experience, a comprehensive understanding of student behavior, teaching techniques proficiency, and the capacity to encourage critical thinking and creativity in an effort to offer a unique basis for professional teaching careers. The students will learn a variety of subjects, including general teaching techniques, educational psychology, classroom management, guidance and counseling, linguistics, English literature, and culture, in addition to English language teaching methodologies and effective communication skills as a foundation for instruction.
In addition to the Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree offered by the ELT department, students can pursue a Master of Arts degree in ELT, both with and without a thesis, through the department's close collaboration with the faculty.
The department's highly skilled and globally experienced team will help make your studies effective, pleasurable, and unforgettable. Computer technology integration into welcoming and encouraging learning environments gives you a practical opportunity to put your abilities to use in the classroom.
The graduates are expected to take up work in the following areas: English language teaching at universities or foreign language schools, English language and literature teaching, American literature, curriculum design, language testing, translation and interpretation, tourism and academia.

At EUL, we highly value preparing incoming students to be trustworthy, creative, and professionally responsible individuals. They will also be urged to accept and cultivate cultural diversity, intercultural competency, and empathy, as well as to approach academia with critical thinking and contribution to their own countries on scientific matters. A high degree of academic freedom, excellent instruction, and a focus on scientific and technical innovation and advancement are the key platforms that the university prioritizes to accomplish this. In conclusion, our organization wants to support global peace initiatives and the well-being of society by taking the lead in social, cultural, and economic development.
