Program description

A comprehensive and career-focused BA degree is provided by the Undergraduate Program in Finance & Banking.

In addition to mastering managerial skills for the public and industrial sectors, the program graduates are well-prepared for careers in banking and finance. Graduates can pursue further education in business-related subjects or banking and finance.

More strict financial controls have been implemented globally as a result of the recent global financial crisis's economic and financial impacts. More focus is being placed on risk-based audits in this setting. The need for trustworthy and educated administrators has increased as a result of all these changes, and graduates of the Department of Banking and Finance are able to meet these expectations.

Program structure

A total of 130 credit hours, or 44 courses, must be completed for the four-year degree program. Accounting, business management, business law, computer information, and economic and fundamental statistical principles are all introduced to students in the first half of the program. By enrolling in classes on business finance, banking management, international banking and finance, international economy, advanced accounting and economics, econometrics, and research methodologies, students in the Department of Banking and Finance then expand upon that foundation. During the last two years of the program, students can select eight elective courses to deepen their education. The undergraduate degree in banking and finance generally develops an awareness of the fundamental theories and instruments of financial management, as well as their use in contemporary commercial settings.
