Program description
The global business climate is significantly and dynamically impacted by globalization. Today's world of chaotic economic integration has grown more significant, and business executives and governments must manage and analyze it. From a business and economics standpoint, students enrolled in the International Business and Commerce degree will gain an understanding of the intricacy of the current trade and commercial environment. In order to integrate management, economics, accounting and finance, marketing, international trade, and international business management courses, the Department of International Business and Commerce provides an interdisciplinary, theoretical and practice-based approach. By taking into account the impact of global environmental elements on the dynamic structure of the international business arena, program graduates will be able to formulate strategies and come up with solutions for complex international business problems.
Numerous job opportunities will be available to our graduates in a variety of international businesses, government agencies involved in banking and finance and foreign trade, chambers of commerce and industry, free zones, national and international economic development agencies, and other international organizations.

Established by the Cyprus Science Foundation, the European University of Lefke formally began its academic operations in 1990 as a State Foundation University.
