Program description
In order to educate and develop students in the subject of international relations, the program offers a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. With respect to this objective, the programme provides a comprehensive BA degree, including not only international relations and political science courses, but also courses on economics, law, history, business and international organizations. The four-year undergraduate program's primary goals are first to provide students a basic understanding of the abilities and methods required in a globalized and competitive world, and then to improve their capacity to evaluate research materials critically while also strengthening their analytical reasoning skills. Students enrolled in the program are prepared for a wide range of public and private sector job choices. Jobs in business, government, educational institutions, and media are among the occupations available.
The degree program combines electives and technical requirements to get students ready for a career in politics and international affairs. In order to prepare them for the more specialized work that will be done in the last two years, students are given broad-based introductory courses to take during the first two years.

Established by the Cyprus Science Foundation, the European University of Lefke formally began its academic operations in 1990 as a State Foundation University.
