Program description
Developing successful graduates with the necessary skills for a national and international communication environment through the innovative use of new communication technologies in an ethical and socially responsible manner is the main goal of the NMC program.
According to this framework, the program's objectives are to train new members who can work in the media industry and meet the fundamental requirements of the field by applying their technological background, ability to keep up with the latest advancements, and ability to apply these technologies to industry practices. The program encompasses online publishing, communication, social media communication, mobile reporting, and traditional communication topics. So, topics like new media and publishing, digital content creation, user experience, narrative, digital photography, digital marketing communication, and media analysis are among the topics that the NMC Program seeks to cover for prospective media professionals.
The NMC Program also seeks to establish and implement dialogue among other faculty departments on various levels to facilitate collaboration among students and introduce them to a wide range of interconnected fields of study, including media theory and practice, film and television, visual communication design, journalism, photography and video, public relations, and advertising. Combined, these disciplines help students find the right path for their education and careers.
Our students get a foundation in communication science during their time in the program, and in their second year, they start building their own portfolios by learning the contextual, managerial, and application skills needed for digital media.
