Program description

Human movements and functions are the foundation of physiotherapy. The primary goals of physiotherapy, a health care profession, are to improve mobility, functional capacity, quality of life, and movement potential by addressing impairments and disabilities through physical intervention, diagnosis, evaluation, and examination. "Physiotherapist" is the title awarded to graduates in this area.

With the help of necessary training and exercise regimens, physiotherapists help people maintain and improve their physical capabilities while also accompanying them on their life journeys. Additionally, physiotherapists are authorized to use physiotherapy techniques and cutting-edge technology to fulfill patients' needs in order to provide the appropriate intervention. In related centers, graduates of this curriculum actively participate in interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams. Both English and Turkish education are available through the curriculum.

The Department of Physiotherapy's primary goal is to train Physiotherapists who accept the idea of lifelong learning, who are receptive to new ideas and keep up with scientific and technological advancements in the field, who can apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings, who can choose and execute the most accurate evaluation and application program, who can create projects that benefit society, who are obligated to uphold ethical standards, and who can simultaneously portray innovative, modern, knowledgeable, and skillful acts with regard to human rights.
