Program description
The goal of the public administration degree program is to train students for careers in municipal and federal government and public administration. To achieve this, the program offers a broad-based bachelor's degree that includes courses in economics, law, business, public organizations, and public administration, among other subjects.
The four-year undergraduate Political Science and Public Administration program aims to give students a basic understanding of the abilities and methods necessary to promote efficiency in the management of public institutions, businesses, and organizations and effectiveness in the administration of both the federal and local governments. To prepare them for the more specialized work that will be done in the last two years, the students are given basic knowledge and introductory courses throughout the first two years. Additionally, the curriculum prepares students for careers in government bureaucracy and the public sector. A wide range of government services, administrative roles in public institutions, and academic work are among the work sectors.

Established by the Cyprus Science Foundation, the European University of Lefke formally began its academic operations in 1990 as a State Foundation University.
