Program description
Training students to become certified preschool teachers is the primary goal of the Preschool Teaching Department. It is now a scientifically established truth that early childhood education is crucial for a child's growth. It is well recognized that the habits that preschool-aged children develop serve as the cornerstone and basis for their lifetimes. The department's goal is to prepare educators who understand the value of early childhood education and how it will affect children's formative years. It is expected of the teachers to learn how to use games, storytelling, and other activities to assist children acquire basic scientific and math ideas, language and vocabulary, and basic developmental abilities.
The YGS-5 point system earned in the university entrance exam administered by the Turkish Student Selection and Placement Center determines applications to the department. Turkish is the department's primary language of instruction. The educational program is developed to satisfy the demands of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Turkey's industry. TRNC individuals can choose not to pursue such an education overseas because our university offers pre-school instruction. Additionally, the department provides instruction at the best level possible compared to other departments of a similar nature in Turkey.
Graduates of the department may find work in kindergartens, pre-schools, children's clubs, public and private nursery schools, and other establishments that deal with early childhood education. Graduates can also pursue postgraduate or graduate degrees in related disciplines or in their own domains.

All international students accepted for admission will be entitled to receive a scholarship amount between 50% to 100% according to the academic merits per candidate
