Program description
Video, sound, photography, recording, writing, graphics, 2D-3D design, animation, and a solid understanding of the arts and communications are among the skills that the Department seeks to teach students who wish to work in the visual media industry in Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Additionally, the department seeks to prepare students for future employment chances in the media industry by bringing them together with radio, television, cinema, advertising, public relations, and journalism practices conducted beneath the faculty's roof.
Graduates of the program will work as designers of visual communication. It is not necessary for students to complete training courses in order to complete the program. However, traineeship programs are available for students studying visual communication design in English through the Turkish State broadcaster, TRT, and the state broadcaster of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Bayrak Radio Television Corporation. Additionally, students are free to enroll in traineeship programs at any of the private businesses that provide services related to visual communication design.
