Program description
The Master's program in Social Work aims to provide students with a deeper understanding of one of the areas of wellness with families, children, and youth; to foster critical thinking, research, and evaluation skills in order to generate new knowledge; and to integrate knowledge and skills in order to contribute to scientific advancement. The goal of the Master of Social Work program is to develop professionals who can successfully complete studies at the national and international levels, integrate and apply the knowledge required for social services, and integrate behavioral sciences, social services, methods, and techniques with field applications within the framework of professional responsibility. Graduates of the program find employment as planners, practitioners, and organizers in public, commercial, and non-governmental organizations, as well as in rural and urban settings.
The graduate program requires completion of a thesis, a seminar, and seven courses totaling twenty-one credits. Turkish is the language of instruction.

All international students accepted for admission will be entitled to receive a scholarship amount between 50% to 100% according to the academic merits per candidate
