Program description

Within our Faculty of Law, the Law Undergraduate Program was founded in 2018 and began accepting students for the 2018–2019 Academic Year.

Law is an interesting and difficult profession. Its influence is widespread. It could affect both the day-to-day activities of people and the global government's functioning. For this reason, our program was created to prepare competent attorneys to satisfy the growing need for these kinds of services in our nation.

You will have an engaging and productive educational experience from our Law Undergraduate Program and be made aware of the key modules that professional legal bodies require. You are expected to acquire particular intellectual and practical skills in the legal profession, and this course fulfills these criteria with a structured skill development program.

Under the Law Undergraduate Program, Turkish law education is taught. Introduction to Law, Constitutional law, Roman Law, Civil Law, Legal History, Micro-Macroeconomics, Law of Obligations, Criminal Law, Administrative Law, International Law, Public International Law, Tax Law, Civil Procedures, Property Law, Trade Law, Philosophy of Law, Sociology of Law, Administrative Jurisdictions, Social Security Law, Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law, Criminal Law, Labor Law, Insurance Law, Negable Instruments Law, Inheritance Law, and Maritime Law are among the core modules.

However, the curriculum has been designed to produce lawyers who are proficient in new interdisciplinary legal areas pertaining to social and technological advancements that are consistent with the global legal order, as well as international law. Intellectual Property Law, Sports Law, Professional Ethics, Gender and Law, Comparative Law, Bioethics, Consumer Law, International Arbitration Law, Law, Literature and Cinema, Advocacy and Notary Law, Medical Law, etc. are examples of contemporary elective modules.

For the stability and order of society and state affairs, the discipline of law is an essential set of values, structures, and guidelines. The profession of law is essential to the creation and upkeep of this discipline. There is a clear understanding that an illegal social order cannot persist, as evidenced by the high demand for legal education. There is a growing need for lawyers with interdisciplinary expertise as more and more legal domains come into existence.
