Program description
The Department of Economics and Business Administration offers an undergraduate program in Political Science and International Relations. It is an academic field that investigates political theories and practices, emphasizing the idea of "power" both historically and currently. It also critically examines the processes of authoritative decision-making and action carried out in various political systems, as well as the effects of these processes.
The four main subfields of the discipline—local politics, political theory, international relations, and comparative politics—are covered in the program's curriculum. International relations theory, international political economy, international law, international security, comparative politics, foreign policy analysis, area studies, and specialty courses are just a few of the topics on which it assists students in doing in-depth research.
By studying the key ideas, theoretical stances, instruments, and techniques in both fields, students pursuing degrees in Political Science and International Relations acquire the abilities required to advance continuously.

Students who register to Final International University (FIU) programs where the medium of instruction is English are required to take the English Proficiency and Placement Exam (UFÜYYES) at the beginning of the academic semester before they can start their studies. Students who attain the required level can enrol in courses offered in their registered programs. Students who are under the required level for their program are placed into English Preparatory School for one or two semesters according to their levels as determined by the exam, which are: Beginner, Elementary, Pre-intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced
