Final International University can take advantage of two significant benefits that are offered by the university's founding partners in its endeavor to offer the greatest tourism education possible. The first is the Final Education Group's more than 40 years of experience offering advanced and higher education programs throughout Turkey; the second is the DMG-Akgünler Group's extensive applied knowledge in the travel, tourism, and hospitality sector, which includes a coalition of tourism establishments like the biggest tour operator in North Cyprus, lodging, dining options, and sea travel.

Students studying tourism and hospitality in today's multicultural world require not just a formal education in the subject, but also hands-on training that integrates classroom theory with real-world experience. The course curriculum has undergone a thorough evaluation and development process in collaboration with tourism industry specialists and academic experts to ensure that graduates will secure employment upon successful completion of their studies.

In addition to written exams, program participants face challenges from a variety of sources, including work placements, assignments, presentations, guest lecturers, educational excursions, conference and workshop attendance, and international competition participation. These opportunities allow our department to compete with the top hospitality and tourism programs in the world while also serving the best interests of our students. Our department is dedicated to upholding the standards set by Eurhodip, an association of premier, award-winning tourism and hospitality institutions, of which one of our lecturers is a member of the executive board.

The department has labs set up with front office reservations and ticketing programs (Opera, Amadeus, etc.), kitchens with the most modern design and accommodations, congress, resort, and spa facilities that are open learning labs for our students, and the highest level of technology available for use in FIU classrooms.

Students studying tourism might benefit from a special advantage offered by the department's location. Çatalköy is the region that generates the most tourist in Cyprus because it has the biggest capacity for beds. There are old castles that are almost two millennia old. Snow White's castle, from Disney's enchanted fairy tale, is St. Hilarion Castle. Meanwhile, Hz. Omer Turbesi designates the initial location where adherents of Islam stepped foot in order to propagate their message. Because the region is on the brink of the "Five Finger Mountains," home to several wild birds and the well-known orchids of Cyprus, it is also extremely rich in flora and fauna. Last but not least, Çatalköy and neighboring Girne have a vibrant social scene with the streets and harbor area housing many pubs, cafes, and restaurants, allowing students a multifaceted social experience while not studying. The pristine Alagadi beach is home to the endangered Loggerhead Turtles.

The FIU tourism program guarantees that students will gain real-world experience in addition to classroom knowledge. They will also receive a degree and a job guarantee. Lastly, the program promises that students will not only have the opportunity to study in the popular tourist destination of Çatalköy, Girne, but will also have a once-in-a-lifetime experience that they will never forget!
