Program description
Overview
Students enrolled in the two-year Final International University English Language Teaching Master's Program (with Thesis) must complete seven courses, a seminar, and a thesis totaling at least 120 ECTS credits. Students enrolled in the 1.5-year English Language Teaching Master's Program (non-thesis) are required to complete 10 courses and a project totaling at least 93 ECTS credits. If considered essential, incoming students to the program could have to take deficiencies courses. A master's degree in English language teaching is given to the graduates.

Requirements for applicants
Candidates should have:
- A relevant bachelor's degree.
- A minimum scores:
IELTS Academic 6.0
TOEFL IBT 75 Oxford English Test (administered at FIU) 69 , or an equivalent English language qualification approved by the FIU Rector’s Office.English Language Top-up
For students who are unable to meet language competency requirements, the FIU School of Foreign Languages offers intense preparatory English language classes.
