Program description

The Child and Youth Care curriculum at George Brown College combines best practice concepts and a relational approach based on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Ontario Association of Child and Youth Care Code of Ethics.

Students learn to engage with children, adolescents, and families with emotional, behavioral, and developmental difficulties that hinder their ability to relate to others.

Children and youth's mental health is a focus.
