By participating in this course, you will:
- Participate in immersive, hands-on programs taught by some of Italy's most renowned chefs in both Canada and Italy.
- Develop your understanding of Italian culinary customs and be open to trying new things in the kitchen.
- Take advantage of our association with ALMA, the internationally renowned Scuola Internazionale di Cucina Italiana located in the province of Parma, Italy.
- Learn about the wine and cheese industries and traditional Italian markets in Italy.
- Learn your trade in Italy's finest dining establishments and inns and prepare to have your mind blown.
In the center of Toronto's culinary scene, you will put your theoretical knowledge to use by serving discerning urban diners alongside top Italian talent. Showcase everything you've learnt in Italy at George Brown's flagship restaurant, The Chefs' House.

Requirements for applicants
Admission Requirements
- diploma or bachelor's degree in Culinary Management
OR
- one-year certificate in Culinary Skills program or Advanced Cook certification AND a minimum of one-year relevant work experience (resumé and references required)
OR
- a diploma or bachelor's degree in an unrelated field AND a minimum of one-year full-time relevant work experience (resumé and references required)
English language proficiency
- George Brown English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Program - Level 8;
- IELTS (Academic) - 6.0, minimum 5.5 in each skill band;
- TOEFL - 80 (online) minimum 20 in each skill band;
- Duolingo English Test - 105;
- MELAB - 80;
- PTE (Academic) - 54, overall minimum, 50 in each skill band;
- CAEL - 60 (overall);
- Cambridge English Exams (B2 First, C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency) - 169 or more (with no individual skill below 162).
