Program description
As a student of Sound Design & Production, you'll hone your artistic vision while mastering the technical aspects of audio recording, whether in a studio or on location.
The film, TV, and gaming industries would be lacking without the contributions of sound designers. You'll learn to use the technical and conceptual components of sound to convey stories and collaborate with visual production artists to create convincing digital recreations of the actual world.
Capturing noises in their natural settings and making your own Foley effects are two of the methods you'll use to master sound design from scratch. Mixing, audio for video games, editing and re-recording dialogue, sound design, and recording are all skills that can be honed at George Brown's studio production facilities.
