Program description
The Visual Effects graduate certificate program spans three semesters and provides advanced training in either 3D animation, motion graphics, or audio/video editing for motion pictures and television. In order to succeed in the post-production sector, aspiring visual effects artists need to acquire both the technical and artistic know-how of programmers and designers. Visual effects artists are an integral part of film and TV production teams, bringing ideas to life on screen.
Using tools like digital lighting, surface attribute design, and camera composition, VFX artists hone their ability to tell a story visually. The techniques of procedural modeling and animation used in visual effects films will be covered as part of the process of understanding the procedures for planning visual effects for cinema.
