Program description

George Brown College is helping to address employer demand for IT experts with a broad understanding of computer systems as the IT sector expands in Toronto and our industry partners report skills shortages. Courses in in-demand areas including system support, network administration, and web technologies are included in our comprehensive two-year Computer Systems Technician curriculum. The program gives students a solid grounding in administration, troubleshooting, and design, all of which are essential for success in IT employment.

George Brown continues to invest in cutting-edge lab technology for students to gain practical experience with networking, wireless, and security. The NetLab platform gives students around-the-clock virtual access to Cisco Systems' hardware. Cisco acknowledged this investment and the college's practical learning environment by designating it as an Area Support Centre and Instructor Training Centre.
