Event-loving and dynamic? Looking for a fast-paced career with new challenges every day?
Our Event Planning package covers hospitality, weddings, fundraising, meetings, conventions, and trade exhibitions. Each semester, you will manage events, culminating in a capstone event and a 14-week externship. This experiential learning and course mix, encompassing event-specific, business fundamentals, and hospitality, will provide you the tools to start your event management career.
Students learn event planning, marketing, budgeting, execution, and assessment techniques. Management, small business development, and market-ready technology are examined. Online and in-class lectures comprise the program. Capstone projects and externships showcase group and individual work.

Requirements for applicants
Admission Requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- grade 12 English (C or U)
English language proficiency
- George Brown English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Program - Level 8;
- IELTS (Academic) - 6.0, minimum 5.5 in each skill band;
- TOEFL - 80 (online) minimum 20 in each skill band;
- Duolingo English Test - 105;
- MELAB - 80;
- PTE (Academic) - 54, overall minimum, 50 in each skill band;
- CAEL - 60 (overall);
- Cambridge English Exams (B2 First, C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency) - 169 or more (with no individual skill below 162).
