Program description
The Fashion Management program trains you to fulfill the industry's business needs. You'll learn about fabrics, manufacturing inputs and processes, supply chain movement, and garment value, costing, and quality. You'll also know how to use marketing and merchandising to boost product sales. This curriculum focuses on product development, specialized markets, and omni-channel retail to fulfill the needs of today's Canadian market.
The Fashion Management program is the only AAFA-affiliated program in Canada. Members receive an up-to-date education, industry connections, and research materials.
From initial conception to retail sale, product development, procurement, and marketing are discussed. You'll test for quality assurance, design buying, merchandising, and marketing plans, and review logistical procedures while managing a retail business.
This program's framework offers career flexibility. After the first year, field education gives you industry knowledge. Fashion procurement, production, distribution, retailing, wholesale or similar marketing experience is required. At FashionWorks, students can meet potential employers.
